JMF Dubbo Football Friendly

Dubbo friendly match 30 August 2020

On Saturday, 30 August a select team of players from JMF Dubbo had the opportunity to play a friendly match against Dubbo & District Football Association U11s.

The JMF team played a strong game and the final score was 6-4 to the Dubbo Devils. Both teams played a great game and enjoyed the healthy competition. The day was filled with lots of action and nutritious, healthy snacks.

Friendly football matches allow John Moriarty Football participants to develop their technical, social and teamwork skills. The games are lots of fun and are crucial to the mental and physical wellbeing of all the children in the program. Alongside the physical benefits of participating in games, football develops fine motor, determination and engagement skills.

Participation in the JMF program has proven positive impacts and healthier outcomes for Indigenous children and their communities.
