Moriarty Foundation is an Indigenous children’s charity that is creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children can thrive. Established in 2012 by Yanyuwa man John Moriarty AM and Ros Moriarty, the Foundation is closing gaps in education, wellbeing, health and employment so Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children have the best start in life and reach their potential.

We deliver two ground-breaking community programs in remote and regional Australia, Indi Kindi and John Moriarty Football. These locally-led initiatives use sport and education to create pathways that lead to improved outcomes in education, wellbeing, health and employment.

These community-led initiatives have a strong focus on building staff capacity through mentoring, skills development and formal qualifications to develop and sustain employees.

Our local teams are supported by a dedicated administrative team in Sydney and guided locally by Community Advisory Groups made up of local leaders, elders, Traditional Owners, families and team members.
