Indi Kindi presents at SNAICC’23 National Conference

SNAICC National Conference 2023

In September 2023 six Indi Kindi educators from the remote NT communities of Borroloola and Tennant Creek  attended the SNAICC National Conference in Garramilla/Darwin on the lands of the Larrakia people.

The educators had a wonderful time attending sessions, networking and learning the latest in Indigenous early years. It was the first time Indi Kindi educators from our two hubs have been able to spend time together face-to-face.

A highlight of the conference was the session presented by Indi Kindi Tennant Creek Team Leader Warumungu / Wambaya woman Keara Baker-Storey and Early Years Specialist Jessica Horne-Kennedy on the impacts Indi Kindi is having in remote communities.

Thank you to our partner Teck for supporting the trip.
