Moriarty Foundation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) dedicated to creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children thrive and reach their potential. Established by Yanyuwa man John Moriarty AM and Ros Moriarty, the Foundation delivers two award-winning programs – Indi Kindi and John Moriarty Football (JMF) – that use education and sport to unlock children’s potential.
Moriarty Foundation is led by community voices and strong local relationships. We are guided by a commitment to compassion and equity to drive impacts that address community disadvantage. We prioritise local leadership and our programs are delivered by majority Indigenous teams.
This is an important role for Moriarty Foundation in Borroloola. We are looking for someone who loves building relationships and can support our locally-led programs within the community.
If you are a good communicator who enjoys working with both children and adults and wants to create a better future for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, we want to hear from you.
You will be an important part of our local team. You will work closely with the people running Indi Kindi and John Moriarty Football to make sure everything is running well across the community.
