JMF Coaches travel to Tennant Creek to further their studies

Congratulations to the John Moriarty Football (JMF) coaches from Borroloola and Tennant Creek who recently completed a block of study for their Certificate 2 in Sports and Recreation through Charles Darwin University.

It was a rare opportunity for the JMF coaching teams to come together, with the Borroloola team travelling to join our coaches in Tennant Creek for the course. It was a fantastic few days of teamwork, collaboration and development.

Topics covered included sporting equipment maintenance and how to plan, prepare, conduct and evaluate football sessions. A highlight of the experience was working together to design session plans which they then had the opportunity to deliver at Tennant Creek Primary School.
