JMF Community Scholars visit Sydney

During the March school holidays, JMF Community Scholars from Dubbo (NSW) and Kuranda (QLD) and some of our JMF Community Coaches visited Sydney to further their development and experience what’s involved in playing elite levels of football.

For the scholars and coaches involved, it was a rewarding and educational experience. Some of the activities they got up to include:

  • A session with Sydney FC Youth Academy
  • A session with Westfields Sports High School
  • Friendly matches against Manly United FC select side
  • Attending the W-League Grand Final match where JMF Scholarship Mentor and Sydney FC Goalkeeper, Jada Whyman, was awarded best in-game
  • Launch of Indigenous Football Australia
  • A visit to Taronga Zoo
