JMF players score big with new goals thanks to Bank of America

Thanks to the generosity of Bank of America (BofA), John Moriarty Football (JMF) players in Dubbo, NSW and Cairns, Qld are enjoying brand new movable goals to use in after school sessions, tournaments and holiday clinics.

JMF Co-Founder John Moriarty (Yanyuwa) and JMF Program Director, Jamie Morriss recently had the opportunity to thank the Bank of America team and talk about the impactful work JMF does in remote and regional communities at a BofA leadership strategy day in Sydney.

As part of the strategy day, BofA staff hand-packed 60 care package backpacks for JMF players with items such as a drink bottle and school supplies, as well as handwritten notes of encouragement.

The BofA team had a lot of fun putting the packs together, showcasing their commitment to leveraging the power of sport to do good for the community. The kids were beyond thrilled to test out the new goal posts and were very excited to receive their special care packages!

We are very grateful for Bank of America’s kindness and generosity in supporting us to make a positive impact through sport in the community.
