Director

Overview

Kerry O'Brien is a proud Koori lawyer and experienced non-executive director. Kerry has worked across state and federal government agencies, and in national Australian law firms, specialising in employment, discrimination and safety law, and complex disputes.

Kerry is currently Senior Legal Counsel – Employment & Privacy at QBE Insurance. Kerry is also currently the Chair of Redfern Legal Centre, being first appointed to the board in 2018, and since 2022 Director and Chair of the People and Governance Committee at Yilabara, a subsidiary of the NSW Aboriginal Land Council. Kerry joined the Moriarty Foundation board in 2024.
