L'il Lloyd's story

L’il Lloyd Dixon (Garrwa) started attending Indi Kindi in Borroloola, NT when he was just five months old with his Garrwa mother, Indi Kindi educator Deandra McDinny.

Just like his older brother Leonardis who attended Indi Kindi before him, Deandra believed Indi Kindi would give L’il Lloyd the best start in life and set him up for success at school.

Thanks to Indi Kindi, in 2023 L’il Lloyd was ready for preschool a year early, at 3 years of age. Now he has a whole extra year in preschool before he transitions to primary school, and is already used to aschool being an every day commitment.

Older brother Leonardis is now 12 years old and a JMF participant. He goes to school every day and was awarded the 2023 JMF Borroloola Player of the Year Award.
