Your support is critical in ensuring Australia’s most vulnerable children are not left behind. Together, we can provide life-changing opportunities that help children thrive.
Kina Palirra (pron keena pal-eera) from the Yanyuwa language spoken by the families of Borroloola, NT means, “Thank you, you are there.”
Borroloola, a remote community in the Gulf of Carpentaria, is the founding community of Moriarty Foundation and the birthplace of our co-founder, Yanyuwa man John Moriarty AM.
As a valued member of The Kina Palirra Circle you will:
L’il Lloyd Dixon, a Garrwa child from Borroloola, started attending Indi Kindi at just five months old.
Thanks to Indi Kindi, in 2023 at 3 years of age L’il Lloyd was ready for preschool a year early. He had an extra year in preschool before he transitioned to primary school in 2025 and was used to school being an every day commitment.
Borroloola is ranked as the fifth most disadvantaged SA2 community in Australia (ABS). Its school attendance rate 37 percentage points lower than the Northern Territory average, but Indi Kindi has set L’il Lloyd up to thrive in education and in life.
A groundbreaking, on Country early childhood solution for Indigenous children that integrates culture, education, health, wellbeing and development.
Harnessing the power of football to positively engage over 2,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people.
