Moriarty Foundation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) dedicated to creating a future where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children thrive and reach their potential. Established by Yanyuwa man John Moriarty AM and Ros Moriarty, the Foundation delivers two award-winning programs – Indi Kindi and John Moriarty Football (JMF) – that use education and sport to unlock children’s potential.
Moriarty Foundation is led by community voices and strong local relationships. We are guided by a commitment to compassion and equity to drive impacts that address community disadvantage. We prioritise local leadership and our programs are delivered by majority Indigenous teams.
John Moriarty Football (JMF) uses the power of sport to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people to thrive and reach their potential. We are looking for a natural leader who loves football and cares about the community to lead our program in Dubbo.
In this role, you will lead a team of community coaches to deliver football, health, and wellbeing sessions in schools and across the community. You will also help find talented young players and support them as they move into higher levels of the game.
