Moriarty Cup Charity Football Tournament 2023

2023 Moriarty Cup

Thank you to everyone involved in our annual Moriarty Cup Charity Football Tournament on 26 September 2023.

Held at the beautiful Allianz Stadium in Sydney, the Moriarty Cup raises funds to support John Moriarty Football in harnessing the power of football to change the lives of a generation of Indigenous kids in remote and regional Australia.

This year over 100 keen competitors took to the field representing Murrina Group, MinterEllison, A-Leagues, Stan Sport, Eastern Suburbs Football Association, Paramount+, Charter Hall, Civic Kitchen & Catering and John Moriarty Football.

Congratulations to the reigning Moriarty Cup Champions, Murrina Group, who have won the tournament for the second year running.

Special mention to the Indigenous Football Australia Council members and Moriarty Foundation board members for their support on and off the field on the day, including Adam Goodes, Craig Foster, Ros Moriarty, Jada Whyman, John Moriarty, Allira Toby, and Julia Moriarty as well as JMF Scholarship Holders Miley Shipp and Shadeene Evans.
